HTC Nexus One by Google

The Google Nexus One is very much simillar to the iphone; a little better. It is 11.5 mm deep and weighs 130 grams, so its slightly thinner and lighter than the iphone. It has an awesome display, with a 3.7 inch touchscreen and a very nice pixel resolution. It has brightness options so you could change the brightness according to where you are. It also has noise cancellation, so the volume gets louder or softer according to the background noise around you.

The Nexus One has 4 touch buttons at the bottom of the home screen (back, menu, home and search button) and a navigational trackball. The live wallpaper is very attractive too. It has a nice 5.0 megapixel camera with flash.

The Google voice pays a very important role in the Nexus One. Most text fields are voice ennabled. So you could choose the microphone button and talk into the phone, which converts the your speech into text. (so for example, you could send a text, update your facebook status, search the internet, etc.).

The price: $529 for an unlocked version. $179 for 2 year contract with T-mobile USA

Apple Magic Mouse

Apple's Magic Mouse is by far the best mouse that Apple has made. Its a beautiful mouse with one piece of clear whtie plastic on the top. Its a wireless mouse and is powered by two AA batteries, which get up to four months of use per charge, according to Apple. The mouse works pretty decently on most surfaces. You can click anywhere on the mouse. There is no clear serperation of the left and right clicks but the Magic Mouse can tell what side you clicked on. The Magic Mouse has touch-scrolling, so you could move your fingers up and down to get thtough web pages (just like the itouch/iphone). Also, you could use two fingers and swipe left-right to get through your music in itunes and to move fowrard or backward in webpages.

The negetives: many people may find the mouse uncomfortable because it isnt shaped to fit your hand, like other mouses. It doesnt work with Windows PC. You cannot pinch and zoom on it (like in the iphone).

Racist Camera??

Joz Wang and her brother bought their mother a Nikon Coolpix S63o digital camera for mother's day. But everytime they took a picture a message would flash across the screen aksing, "Did someone blink?". And when her brother posed with his eyes open so wide that he looked "bug-eyed", the messages stopped.
So Joz posted the pictures on her blog under the tittle, "Racist Camera! No, I did not blink... I'm just Asian!". Its funny that Nikon, a Japanese company, couldnt recognize Asains lol.

The Aliph Jawbone ICON

This is the latest bluetooth headst from Aliph's jawbone products, that calls the ICON the "worlds first intelligent headset". This headset has many features like a battery meter for the iphone, so if you have the headset connected to an iphone you could see the headsets battery meter next to the iphone's battery meter. The ICON uses a standard USB clable so you dont have to carry around many wires. Also, you could connect the Jawbone ICON to multiple phones and mannage the calls at the same time using call waiting. The ICON also has noise assasin and wind reduction technology so that it eliminates all background noise form your conversation.

Like everything else these days the ICON has its own app store called My Talk. What apps could you download for a bluetooth headset? You could get Audioapps, where you could change the voice that tells you the battery life and caller ID (you could also choose form many different languages). In the Dialapps you could use voice dialing where all you have to do is press the Talk button and say the name or number to dial (so you could just leave your phone in your pocket).

You could choose from 6 amazing designs for your ICON depending on what best suits your personality. All that only for $99, which i think is definately worth it.

Microsoft Surface

Microsoft Surface is a revolutionary computer that does not need a mouse or a keyboard; just your fingers. This is the first product in a category that Microsoft calls "surface computing". Its a multi-touch tabletop computer that interacts with users through touch on multiple points on the screen. So you could have as many people as you want using Surface at the same time.

Surface has many exiting features like paint in which you could paint (obviously) using not only your fingers, but also any normal paintbrush. Also, like I said, you could have many people painting at the same time. Another good feature is photo sharing in which you could place your phone or your camera on Surface and you could pull up all your photos or videos, look at them, and move them around just like how you normally do with your photos.

For now, the Microsoft Surface is not available for home use, but only for commercial use at Sheraton and Starwood hotels, the Hard Rock cafe, T-mobile stores and other such places. What would those people do with it? Well, in hotels and restaurants you could use it for looking at the menu and ordering what you like and also for paying the bill. And T-mobile will be using Surface to make the cell phone shopping experience more fun.

Bing may replace Google on iPhone

Apple is in talks with Microsoft for replacing Google with Bing as the default search engine. Google has been the default search engine on Apple's iPhone since its launch, and also provides the data and maps for the iPhone OS maps application. But since rivalry is increasing between Apple and Google in the mobile phone market, Apple has decided to 'ditch' Google.

"Apple and Google know the other is their primary enemy," says one of Business Week's sources. He suggests "Microsoft is now a pawn in that battle."

Rumors about the Apple tablet

The rumors for the Apple tablet say that its probably going to be released in Apple's January 27 event at San Fransisco. This tablet is anticipated to be bigger than an iphone but smaller than a MacBook. As for how the tablet will look; just think of it as an oversized iphone. It's going to be touchscreen like the iphone but will support far more apps than the itouch or iphone. Even the cost is expected to be more than the itouch and the iphone but less than the cheapest Mac; so somewhere around $600 to $900. But this is still just a rumor. Nobody is a 100% sure if the Apple tablet will be coming out any time soon.

Should i jailbreak my itouch? nd what does a jailbreak do?

Jailbreaking is mainly for customizing ur itouch/iphone. Once u jailbreak ur itouch/iphone u could do stuff that a normal itouch cannot do like u could give it themes, fonts, colored keyboards, custom lockscreens nd sliders and ur own slider texts. Should u jailbreak ur itouch/iphone? well tht depends....if u like ur itouch th way it is nd dont really want to customize or change anything on it thn u shouldnt jailbreak it. But if u want to give it ur own touch with different themes nd fonts thn go ahead nd jailbreak it.
And no, it is not illegal to jailbreak your itouch, though it does void ur warranty with apple. But on the bright side thrs now so much more u can do/change on ur itouch/iphone

Itouch 3g jailbreak

The jailbreak for itouch 3g only takes seconds. First you hav to download a file called blackra1n onto your computer from blackra1n.com. Then plug in your itouch and close itunes. Open blackra1n and click on 'make it rain'. Your itouch will reboot and you will see a picture of a person and many itouches. Once your itouch reboots, its been jailbroken. But remember that this is a tethered, so everytime you reboot your itouch you will hav to plug it into a computer with blackra1n on it, and will hav to jailbreak it again. This is one negetive part of the itouch 3g jailbreak. The untethered jailbreak will be available for itouch 3g users very soon.
